About Brainiax

Brainiax was founded by an experienced educator that believes in offering a stimulating safe environment for young learners. Brainiax believes that every child is unique and when presented with a talented teacher, all children will shine! Our inclusive program focuses on each child’s cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development. Brainiax incorporates a strong literacy and math program. In addition, we offer S.T.E.A.M., Science, Engineering, Spanish and more in order to engage imaginations, foster creativity and allow for early learners to explore and grow.

Preschool

Brainiax Preschool offers a 1:5 ratio with a talented instructor as well as a certified teacher with a master’s degree. Our small class size allows for much needed individualized attention during your child’s formative years. Brainiax provides a nurturing and safe learning environment for children to master key concepts, explore, experiment, and learn through play. We are a tight-knit school family that encourages creativity, exploration and growth. The classroom community allows children to learn active listening skills and we offer much needed collaborative purposeful play opportunities. The program provides structured learning time as well as hands-on opportunities to build strong academic foundations.

Part-Time: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (extend to 3 p.m.)

Full-Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Ages 4+)

Afternoon Enrichment

Enrichment programs at Brainiax are interactive, fun and intellectually stimulating. Our teacher to student ratio is 1:10 which allows for small group learning and fun for all in a safe environment. Enrolling your child in enrichment activities that are tailored to their unique interests are a great way to ignite curiosity and foster development. Brainiax aims to engage children’s cognitive and creative capabilities, while giving them a much-needed boost of confidence to learn and explore new things.

The Brainy Tykes summer program offer learning, exploration, art, science, music, STEAM, water play, sports and fun in a sensory gym!

Meet the Brainiax Team

Debra Kirchen

The Owner/Director, Debra Kirchen, is a seasoned educator with a Master's Degree in Education from NYU. As a mother of two children, she has always understood the importance of early childhood education. Brainiax was born for her children because she believed that teacher-led programming was necessary for all ages. Her youngest child graduated from Brainiax Preschool. As an educator, she believes in creating an engaging environment where children are offered a variety of experiences that instill a love for lifelong learning. In her spare time, she volunteers for the Rotary Club of Livingston.

Ms.Kandi

Our Head Teacher, Ms. Kandi, has a Master's Degree in Early Childhood with a specialization in Special Education. As a mother of three and an educator, she has always loved working with children. She is very passionate about providing a high-quality educational experience for all children and is dedicated to finding teachable moments in every situation. Ms. Kandi is a dedicated, creative, and knowledgeable teacher. She is CPR/First Aid certified, safe sleep certified, allergy response trained, and child abuse trained.
