Harry Potter Reading and Crafts- Part 1
Welcome to the world of witchcraft and wizardry! Do you love Harry Potter but the book is a little too hard to read? In this course we will meet every weekend for Harry Potter Reading Corner and crafts! Each time we meet, we will share a read from a PowerPoint that summarizes chapter reading and fun packed with pictures and clips from the movie. We will then do a fun craft to go along with the chapter. We will be painting sky motorcycles, designing letters, creating owls and chocolate frog Hoppers, finding out what house we belong to and making potions. We will have so much fun exploring the world of witchcraft and wizardry as we read through the first book of Harry Potter: the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Book not needed/Basic Materials Needed:
Basic acrylic color paints, paintbrushes, paper, clay or play dough, scissors, glass jar with lid or plastic bottle, food coloring, Alka seltzer tablets, cooking oil, water.
